Gurukula, despite limited infrastructures, the proper mood of exchange of knowledge between teachers and students is kept intact. Students are learning well, both in theoretical principles and practical daily applications of life. However, the growth could have been more productive if Gurukula could manage a piece of land. Thus, a concept of Land for Learning (LL) has been developed.
The Gurukula students should grow and live with nature. If land is acquired, a holistic integration of SEAP model will be practiced –
- S = Soil & Space
- E = education & Environment
- A = Agriculture & Animal
- P = Peace & Propagation
SEAP model will give students the environment where they will concentrate on developing their learning skills, engaging with the subject matter, and exploring their interests at their own pace. Practical teachings are found more effective than theoretical concepts.
If Gurukula has its own land, it will be a real and true Vedic learning Centre. Gurukula will definitely make a leap to achieve a long-cherished milestone and grab a chance to perform smoothly to shape the future of modern society. Hence, Gurukula is seeking financial support / donation to acquire land in Kathmandu, the Capital of Nepal.
